    Today's Literary Birthday
    Ground breaking science fiction writer Isaac Asimov was born on this date in 1920. Best known for his Foundation Trilogy, Asimov was considered one of the “big-three” of sci-fi along with Robert Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke. He may be most familiar today for I Robot, a short story made into a 2004 movie with Will Smith. In the story Asimov coined the term “robotics.” In 1964 the Sci-Fi Writers of America chose his short story Nightfall “the best sci-fi short story of all time.”
